DESCRIPTION:Virtuoso Solos\, Duos\, Trios from Chamber Music Palisades:\n\nCommunity Afternoon Concert \n\n\n\nJoin us Sunday\, May 19\, at 3 pm for Chamber Music Palisades' third free matinee concert of the season\,\n\nfeaturing Pierre Long-Tao Tang\, (piano)\, Sergio Coehlo (clarinet\, bass clarinet\, Eb clarinet)\, Alexander Burns-Chay (bassoon and contra bassoon)\, and Chamber Music Palisades Artistic Director Susan Greenberg (flute\, alto flute\, bass flute\, and piccolo)\, all top-notch professional musicians who have performed with world-renowned orchestras such as Los Angeles Philharmonic\, Los Angeles Chamber\n\nOrchestra\, Santa Monica Symphony\, and the Long Beach Symphony.   These talented performers will present chamber music featuring a kaleidoscope of colors from the highest to the lowest members of the flute\, clarinet\, and bassoon families\, showcasing the virtuosity and musicianship of each of the musicians. Along with pianist Pierre Tang\, the program includes duos and trios by Beethoven\, Mendelssohn\, Faure\, Rorem\, Joplin and others.   This performance will be held at Pacific Palisades United Methodist Church\, 801 Via de la Paz\, Pacific Palisades\, and is sponsored in part by the Los Angeles Department of\n\n\n\nCultural Affairs.  Reservations are not needed. Please note that this is a different venue than our evening concert series.  Donations are welcome in person or on our website  cmpalisades.org . We are very grateful for these contributions as they enable us to continue providing these wonderful family-friendly concerts.
