DESCRIPTION:Topic: Managing Change: Leveraging Servant Leadership Philosophies to Create Enduring Value\n\n \n\nTopic Overview: 70% of all transformation projects fail\, even with 100's of books\, articles - this session will go over 5 successful techniques in leading change. \n\nAmy is currently an Executive in Residence at Pepperdine University.  She teaches a capstone course titled Service Leadership where students learn leadership through an experiential consulting project pairing them with nonprofits to complete business capability projects. Through this class\, she and her students have consulted with over 100 non-profits assisting them with social media strategies\, fundraising plans\, and financial analysis. \n\n\n\nShe completed her Masters in Social Entrepreneurship and consults clients through her company Go Make a Difference Ventures giving 50% of her profits to help lower-income students. Her focus is on coaching and advising leaders and teams in achieving higher productivity\, improving team dynamics\, and managing complex change.  \n\n\n\nShe previously served on the boards of BookEnds\, Social Venture Partners\, Environmental Charter Schools and is now on the board of the Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center. She has become a passionate ambassador for lowering the achievement gap and making the environment healthier and safer for our children. Her philosophy is that every day is an opportunity to change someone's life and go make a difference.

Upon arriving to campus\, please stop at the guard booth to request a visitor parking pass and a coin token. Continue up Seaver Drive (go past the stop sign at the intersection of Seaver Drive and Banowsky Blvd).
