DESCRIPTION:Join us for The Emily Shane Foundation's fall fundraiser event "Wings and Waves of Achievement: An Autumn Carnival for All" at Pepperdine University on Sunday\, October 20\, 2024 from 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM on the university campus at Alumni Park. We are delighted to present a carnival on a grand scale for the entire Malibu community and beyond!\n\nAll proceeds to help benefit our mission of educational equity via our SEA (Successful Educational Achievement ) Program\, supporting underserved middle schoolers locally and across LA.\n\n\n\nHighlights include:\n\n\n A host of activities and attractions for children: a petting zoo\, inflatables\, face painting\, art station\, and carnival games.\n Live musical entertainment including Malibu Middle and High School Musicians\, Noted Jazz Artist Les Sabler\n Food trucks - Scooter's Sweet Shack\, Malibu locals favorite D'Amores and others!\n Cornhole tournament\n 50/50 raffle\n Art installation by acclaimed Malibu artist Ann Krasner\n Vendor tables\n Community organization tables \n PCH Safety/Driving Safety and Education Representatives including: OTS (Office of Traffic Safety)\, CHP\, Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station\, Caltrans\, Street Racing Kills\n Free and open to the public\; a $100 from 100 campaign has launched to support our SEA Program.
