The City of Malibu has captained a cleanup and partnered with Heal the Bay and Malibu Elementary School for this wonderful event. The City of Malibu has partnered with Malibu Elementary several times since 2006 and is excited to do it again! \n\nThere are over 55 locations in Los Angeles County alone that will be cleaned up this September 23rd.\n\n\n\nWe will meet at Zuma Lagoon/Westward Beach on September 23. \n\n \n\nThere are two ways to get involved: \n\n(1) Volunteer for the behind-the-scenes of the event from 8am to 12pm. These tasks can include:\n\n\n Helping volunteers sign-in and sign waivers\n Giving safety talks before volunteers cleanup\n Distributing cleanup supplies\n Overseeing the volunteers\n Giving away raffles during and after the event\n\n\nPlease email Solicia Andico at sandico@malibucity.org if you are interested in volunteering for these tasks.\n\n\n\n(2) Volunteer to cleanup at the beach from 9am to 12pm at the Eventbrite link.
