Please join us for the Health and Wellness Committee meeting as we present a special online workshop with professional disaster and trauma counselors.

When: Tuesday, January 21 at 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Robert Scholz, LMFT, a licensed psychotherapist and disaster mental health expert along with Elizabeth Mead, LCSW, a trauma expert.

This meeting will be dedicated to discussing the unique aspects of a wildfire disaster and associated grief, including the loss of homes, cherished belongings, pets and even loved ones. They will discuss how to recognize and process grief, give practical tools for emotional recovery and building resilience; giving us ways to support others, including children and vulnerable populations. They will also discuss strategies for fostering community healing and connection in the aftermath of disaster.
