SMC Malibu's 2nd Annual Toy Drive for the Malibu Community Labor Exchange, November 6th - December 10th Created over 30 years ago, the Malibu Community Labor Exchange is a nonprofit organization aimed to provide a safe and convenient place for workers to wait for day jobs, facilitate a connection with prospective hirers, and to stay independent by providing the necessary resources. Last year, the SMC-Malibu Campus spearheaded the 1st annual toy drive to benefit the children of the Labor Exchange, after hearing that they had received no toy donations for their holiday party the year before. Our community did not fail in this call to make something special for these children during the holidays. We received an overwhelming number of toys and the joy we saw on these children’s faces was unforgettable. Every child got something that made their holiday season special. This year, we are asking you to step up for these children again by donating a new and unwrapped toy, sports equipment, or school supply suitable for children 0-14yrs. Please know that your kindness truly matters, especially to those who need it more this season than perhaps any other. Your generosity and thoughtfulness are appreciated more than you know.
