2023 Malibu Triathlon
The 38th annual Malibu Triathlon will take place Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023 at Zuma Beach in Malibu, CA. The annual race welcomes more than 5,000 athletes, including many celebrities, to test their endurance in swimming, biking, and running all while raising critical funding for the Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Since 2007, the Malibu Triathlon has raised more than $17M for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, resulting in the development of life-saving treatments that are helping children around the world in their fight against cancer. Past participants in the Malibu Triathlon have included Tom Cruise, Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Lopez, Zac Efron, Jennifer Garner, Felicity Huffman, Minnie Driver, Will Ferrell, the late Robin Williams, and many more. The race includes a Pacific Ocean swim, an out-and-back bike along the Pacific Coast Highway, and an out-and-back run along the sands of Zuma Beach. Additionally, professional triathlon athletes will compete in the Super League Triathlon race on Sept. 30, 2023 For more information and to register, visit https://malibutri.com/. Spectators are encouraged to head to the main event site at Zuma Beach to watch the weekend of events. The best locations are lots 7 and 8, where the event takes place. Due to limited parking, spectators should park at Point Dume parking lot or on Pacific Coast Highway. Please obey all posted signs.
