    About Us

    Advocates for Malibu Public Schools (AMPS) is a group whose purpose is to provide a unified voice and push for excellence in all four Malibu public schools.

    It has become clear to AMPS that the best way to achieve excellence in Malibu schools is to gain local control of our district, thus starting the movement for an independent Malibu School District. An independent Malibu School District would allow the Malibu community to bring our schools to the forefront of educational innovation, technology and student focus.

    AMPS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
