About Us

Auracle Productions is a female owned and operated production company that celebrates the badasserie of women across the globe.

Auracle itself is a play on words between oracle and aura. An oracle is a person considered to provide wise and insightful counsel or prophetic messages. Aura is the energy field around a living creature. It's also the name of our CEO's sweet puppy. Since childhood, our CEO, Zhara Astra, has received many messages and visions through dreams, including many for projects and scripts she develops, thus Auracle Productions was born!

Zhara Astra is an award-winning writer, producer, filmmaker, and the world's first professor of female neurodivergent studies. The emphasis in her work, whether in academia or in film and television, is helping women worldwide and highlighting empowering, inspirational, and authentic female-driven stories.

Our mission is to propel female-driven stories about wild women (and those who identify as such), women carving their way out in the world, or sometimes women just trying to survive. Auracle gives a voice to those women and does it in a unique, often divine or mystical way, because that's exactly what women are--divine, mystical, and worthy of celebration, in and out of the media.

We write, develop, and produce radical, magical, sensational film and television content with an emphasis on female-driven stories with authentic, dynamic characters.
