Malibu Arts Commission
In 2012 Malibu City Council demonstrated a commitment to the arts by appointing five members of the community and one ex-officio member to the Malibu Cultural Arts Commission. In 2021, the Council approved the name change from the Malibu Cultural Arts Commission to Malibu Arts Commission (Ordinance No. 482).
The Malibu Arts Commission website is operated by the City of Malibu under the advisement of the Commission. The website serves as a resource for performing, visual, and literary artists.
Malibu Arts Commission Meetings
The Malibu Arts Commission meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 9:00 AM.
Meetings take place virtually at MalibuCity.org/virtualmeeting until further notice.

We welcome your participation. If you wish to address the Commission during one of their meetings, please fill out a public speaker slip and submit it to the Recording Secretary. Speaker slips can be found on the entry table prior to each meeting.
