About Us
Daria Hodko enjoys teaching a wide range of students aged as young as three to adult. Her students have held Concertmaster and Principal 2nd Violin positions with the San Diego Unified School District Middle School and High School Honor Orchestras from 2011-2016. In addition, her students are active in the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra and Civic Youth Orchestra of San Diego. Ms. Hodko strives to provide a curriculum that is tailored specifically to each individual student, and emphasizes the importance of focusing on details while still enjoying the process of learning, and having fun along the way.
Ms. Hodko has played with various orchestras throughout Southern California including: San Diego Chamber Orchestra, San Bernardino Symphony, California Chamber Orchestra, San Diego City Ballet Orchestra, and Strauss Symphony of America which included performances at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
Ms. Hodko did Post-Bachalaureate study at the Cleveland Institute of Music under the tutelage of the Cleveland Orchestra's Principal 2nd Violinist, Stephen Rose. In addition, she worked with Los Angeles Philharmonic's Associate Concertmaster Nathan Cole, and Rosetti String Quartet's 1st Violinist, Henry Gronnier at the Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles. She completed a Bachelor's of Music in Violin Performance under the tutelage of San Diego Symphony's Violinist, Hernan Constantino at San Diego State University School of Music. BUSINESS OWNERS: STATE REQUIRES EMPLOYERS TO PROVIDE EMPLOYEES WITH MEDICAL GRADE MASKS, AND YOU CAN ACQUIRE THEM AT NO OR LOW COST
The LA County Department of Public Health (LADPH) updated its Health Officer Order on March 22, 2022 to lift mask requirements in most venues outside of health facilities. Employers still need to follow OSHA guidelines and offer well fitting medical grade N95, or KN95, KF94 or respirators to employees who work indoors and have contact with other workers, customers or members of the public.
FREE PPE packages, including N95 masks, are available through PPE Unite at http://www.ppeunite.org or by calling (747)224-7742. The City of Los Angeles also has low-cost N95 masks available for purchase at http://www.lovla.org.
Also, employers are required to report any cluster of worksite COVID-19 cases. A cluster is when three (3) or more laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 are known or reported at the worksite within a 14-day period. Reports to LAC DPH should be made as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after reports or knowledge of at least three cases. Report to LAC DPH online or by phone: 1-888-397-3993.
