About Us

First Point Development is a licensed general contractor and design-build firm that calls the Santa Monica Mountains home. Based in Topanga, California — the center of the burn area between Pacific Palisades and Malibu — we bring 30 years of building experience and deep local knowledge to every project we take on.

We specialize in high end, single-family custom homes and renovations, with a current focus on our community’s recovery from the January 2025 wildfires. Our services span the full spectrum of residential construction — giving homeowners and contractors alike a trusted, hands-on partner at every stage of the process.
