Topanga Canyon Gallery Art Show Opening
A Shot in the Arm Many of us finally see the light at the end of the year long tunnel we’ve been living through. We have hope because of – literally – a shot in the arm! (or 2) The artists of the Topanga Canyon Gallery are sharing their vision of the hope we have in the future, the things we’ve missed and what we have been through in the new show “A Shot in the Arm”. It is showing at Topanga Canyon Gallery March 6- 21 Satudays and Sundays. The show is also online for viewing and purchase. You will find Russell Hunziker’s oils inspired by our local landscapes, and Don Holtz’ unique photographic view of other western locales. Lisa Baldwin offers colorful and textured pieces bringing nature alive on panels. Moises Mendoza has created a vibrant pink background for his newest minimalist piece and relaxation Delbar Azari’s California abstract expressionism. Several of Toby Salkin’s impressionist visions of famous faces are on display as well as Patrick Ramsey’s inspiring photography of people captured in a moment in time. The 3d work on display is varied and interesting. Using recycled wine bottle glass, Sari Scheer has created an exciting abstract mounted on brushed aluminum and Kit Plumridge continues his steampunk series in baltic birch and steel. The show is completed with a selection of blown glass and ceramics by Farideh Azad. Spend a bit of (very safe) time in the gallery over the weekend, or stay at home and browse our online gallery.
